This policy covers creatifwork.com. It is written for the site as it actually works rather than as a template, so what follows is the whole of what we collect and the whole of what we do with it.

Creatif Work is a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore, UEN 53472293L. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry. The form asks for seven things: your name, your company name, your email address, your phone number, your current website, a brief, and a budget range. Three are required, which are your name, your email address and the brief. The rest are asked because they make the first reply a better one, not because an enquiry without them is worth less.

The form also records which page you were reading when you wrote. The same form sits on more than fifty pages of this site, so what you had open is the most useful thing we can know about your enquiry after what you wrote. We record the page address only. Anything after the question mark, which is where a click id or a campaign tag would sit, is dropped before the message is sent.

When you write, call or message us directly. The email address, the phone number and the WhatsApp number on this site are ordinary ones. Whatever you send arrives with whatever your own service attaches to it.

When you simply read the site. Our host records standard server logs, including your IP address, the page requested and your browser's user agent. That happens for every website and it is what lets a server answer a request and be defended against abuse.

We do not run accounts, take payments on this site, ask you to log in, or run a newsletter. There is no comment form and nothing on the site asks for anything about you that is not listed above.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is sent to our own mailbox and we reply to it. That is the whole of it. It is not added to a marketing list, it is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone to sell you something.

Server logs are used to keep the site running and to see off abuse. The form carries a hidden field that only an automated submitter would fill in, which is how we turn away spam, and the endpoint counts requests from an address for a few minutes so a single machine cannot flood it.

Where it goes

We use contracted service providers to operate this site and deliver enquiries. They process only the data needed to provide those services and may not use it for unrelated marketing.

Some of those providers may process data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we require it to be protected to a standard comparable with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as we may need them, which for a live conversation means the conversation and for everything else means our own record of who has approached us. We do not run a separate database of enquiries, so deleting one means deleting the message. Ask us and we will.

Server logs are kept by our host on its own schedule, which is a matter of weeks rather than years.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies of its own. Nothing here needs one: there is no login, no basket and no session.

We use two Google services, and they are the only reason a cookie is set at all.

Google Analytics tells us which pages people read and which of them lead to an enquiry. It sets cookies that record a visit, not a person, and we never send it your name, your email address or anything you type into the contact form.

Google Ads tells us which of our advertisements brought somebody here who then got in touch. It sets a cookie that lets Google connect a click on one of our ads to an enquiry on this site, and it may be used to show you our advertisements elsewhere.

What is actually stored

• _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. Google Analytics. A random id for the visit and the session. Two years.
• _gcl_au. Google Ads. The id of the ad click that brought you here, so a later enquiry can be attributed to it. Ninety days.
• cw-consent. Ours, and it is browser storage rather than a cookie. It holds your answer, the date you gave it, and whether you have told us to stop asking. It never leaves your browser and stays until you clear this site's data.

Google also sets cookies on its own domains when its tags run, which we can neither read nor delete from here. Google's own policies cover those.

Your choice, and how to change it

We ask you on your first visit, wherever you are. What that answer does depends on where you are, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, neither service runs until you have said yes. Nothing is stored until you answer, and if you never answer, nothing is stored at all.

Elsewhere, including Singapore, these cookies are set when you arrive and the question is a notice and a way out rather than a gate. Saying no stops them and deletes what had been set.

The one visit we do not interrupt is one that arrives on an advertisement, outside those regions, because a bar across the bottom of the page is a poor way to meet somebody who has just clicked through. Nothing is hidden from them: the same control is in the footer of the page they land on, and the policy they are reading now is one link away.

We ask again after a week. An answer given once and kept forever is not really an answer any more, so the question comes back around and you can change your mind without going looking for it. Your previous answer stays in force in the meantime: nothing is switched back on, and nothing you refused is forgotten, while the question is on screen. The same bar carries a Do not ask again, which keeps your answer and ends the cycle for good.

You can change your answer at any time, without waiting for us to ask. There is a Cookie settings control in the footer of every page on this site. It reopens the same question, in every country, whether or not you were asked the first time. Choosing no stops the tags and deletes the cookies they had already set on this domain, and the site works exactly as it did before.

Your rights

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it, and you may ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Write to us and we will answer.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it deleted, to object to it being used, and to complain to your own supervisory authority. The same address reaches us.

We will not charge you for any of this and we will not make you explain why.

Security

Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and are delivered over an authenticated one. The mailbox they arrive in is protected by a password and two-factor authentication, and the credential the website uses to send is a separate one that can be revoked on its own without touching anything else.

No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and we will not tell you otherwise.

Children

This site is for businesses and nothing on it is aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything about anyone under 13.

Other sites

We link to other websites, and once you follow a link you are reading somebody else's site under somebody else's policy. We are not responsible for those.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that would require your consent will be asked for rather than announced.
