Brand identity design in Singapore.

Marks, colour and type that hold up everywhere your business actually appears. On a van, on a site sign, on an invoice and at 32 pixels in a browser tab.

Four reasons this is worth doing properly.

A logo is one file. An identity is the system that keeps every place your company appears looking like the same company.

People decide how you look almost instantly.

Visual appeal is judged within 50 milliseconds, and ratings at 50ms match ratings at 500ms. The judgement is formed before anyone reads a word of what you do.

Design is the most cited reason people trust or distrust you.

In a study of 2,684 people assessing live websites, design look was mentioned in 46.1% of credibility comments, more than any other factor. Note the denominator: 46.1% of comments, not of people.

Inconsistency reads as disorganisation.

The same mark in four different colours across your website, your invoices and your van does not read as flexible. It reads as a company where nobody is in charge of anything.

Most marks fail somewhere real.

Drawn at presentation size on a designer's screen, then asked to work as a favicon, an embroidered polo and a single-colour etch. Some survive that. Most were never tested against it.

What we deliver.

Not a logo file. The set of things that make an identity usable by people who are not designers.

The mark, in every form you need

Primary, stacked, horizontal, icon only, one colour and reversed. Exported in the formats print and web actually take.

Colour and type rules

Hex, CMYK, Pantone and the type scale, with the rules for when to use which. Enough that a printer or a new hire gets it right.

Applied to real things

Invoice, quotation, name card, email signature, site sign, vehicle. Not mockups on a grey gradient.

A usage guide people will actually read

Short, practical, and written for whoever handles your printing, not for other designers.

Files organised so they can be found

Named clearly, sorted by use, handed over in one folder you own outright.

Rollout support

Thirty days after handover for the questions that come up once people start using it.

A mark that only works on screen is half a mark.

Most identity work is presented at large size, on white, on a screen. That is the one place every mark looks fine. The trouble starts at 32 pixels in a browser tab, in a single colour on an embroidered shirt, reversed out of a photograph, or squeezed into a square social avatar that crops the wordmark off.

We test against all six before anything is signed off, because fixing it afterwards means reprinting things. If a mark fails three of them it is not finished, however good it looks in the presentation.

Our process.

  1. 01

Work out what it has to do

One written scope, agreed before anything is designed or built. Most of the risk on a project lives here.

  2. 02

    Design and build it

You see it working in stages, not at the end. Unlimited revision rounds inside each phase.

  3. 03

    Hand it over

Every file, login and account is yours. We show your team how to run it before we finish.

  4. 04

    Keep it running

Updates, backups and monitoring, so it does not quietly stop working.

Common questions.

Often neither. If the mark works and the problem is that it is applied inconsistently, what you need is a rules document and a proper file set, which is a smaller job and the honest answer more often than you would expect.

Already have a website?

Not every firm needs a new one. Sometimes the structure is sound and it just needs better content, a proper update and a tidy-up. We will tell you which one you are, and we will say so if a refresh is the honest answer.
